Domaine St. Flelix Curvee Pierre Martin
White: A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Vermentino, best known as the grape for provence whites, which adds weight and length to the crisp, refreshing characters of the Sauvignon.
Rose: Here Grenache and Cisault are in perfect harmony creating an easy drinking wine with an abundance of Raspberry and Wild Strawberry Fruit. A great glugger but also goes well with food.
Red: Made from the noble grapes Merlot and Cabernet giving classic Plum and Blackcurrant flavours, boosted by old vine Carignan to add complexity & gusto!
Per glass (175ml) £2.50 or large glass (250ml) £4.25 per bottle £10.95
175ml 250ml Bottle
Pinot Grigio La Delfina 2005/6 IGT Venezie, Italy £3.30 £4.50 £12.50
Finding a good inexpensive example of this ultra-
however after a reentless and exhaustive search, at great personal risk we’ve done it!
Waterstone Bridge Reserve Tarrango 2006 Victoria £3.30 £4.75 £12.50
Made the same way as Beaujolais to be drunk young &lightly chilled, however, unlike
Beaujolais it tastes great-
Makana Reserve Chenin Blanc 2006 Western Cape, South Africa £12.95
With ripe Apple, Pear, Honey and Tropical Fruit on the nose and palate, this is medium dry yet crisp with a lengthy finish. It’s a real “session” wine but comes into it’s own with food,
especially salads or any spicy dishes.
Tierra Alta Merlot 2006 Curico, Chile £12.95
Produced from vineyards high in the foothills of Curico, this is concerentrated yet rounded and demanding of a second glass. Deep in colour with ripe Plum and Berry Fruit, a warm and supple palate with a silky texture and plenty of weighty fruit.
