We recently stayed at the Harrogate Arms for 2 nights, the nights before and of our wedding, with 2 pairs of friends also staying on the night of the wedding, and could not have picked a better place to stay! The rooms were clean, comfortable and fitted with all the facilities expected these days, plus free

DVD and book loan and free wifi.

All commented that their beds were wonderfully comfortable and the modern electric shower excellent.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and Nicole ensured that all the arrangements ran smoothly, taking

that bit extra care over laying out the table for our reception dinner that made all the difference. Both the food and service were first rate in the evenings and for breakfast. Being able to keep our (elderly) dog with us in both the private and public rooms and good walks for her in the area really made our stay possible.

The fact that the bar was full of locals and visitors and many of the

tables occupied by people eating there but not staying as guests is a good

indication of how deservedly popular the hotel is. 3 Double, en-suite rooms, 1

for 2 nights, Dinner, drinks and breakfast for 2 one day and for 6 on the second

day, all for £500 was excellent value! Next time we are looking for a hotel in

the area, the Harrogate Arms will definitely be our first choice!

We stayed with you on the 26-27 June. i had to write to say a massive thank you to both yourself and Tommy for the fantastic time we had with you during our stay, i'm not one to regularly way lyrical about a place but i have to when it comes to the harrogate arms. every aspect of our stay was relaxing, the food and room was great, your staff and locals made us feel so welcome and at home, nothing seemed too much trouble to anyone, it was so much appriciated by us both after the stress of our wedding.

as for the falconry with Tommy, the other gent, Franky and Tara we were stunned it was the most superb experience we've had to date (better than driving a ferrari on a track day) and one i'm seriously looking into studying locally. we hope to be booking in with you again for my birthday next month and hopefully we'll be taking our new feathered friends out for a fly again.

again a massive thank you to all of you, your staff customers and birds you made the best week of our lives extra special
